email exchanges. “The car has 23000 original miles on it. The car
is 98% original. My father had it in his garage on blocks for the last
30 years. When I was growing up this car was a big part of my life. We
took it to a lot of car shows in northern Indiana. My father is 80 years
old now. I am in the middle of repainting it to the correct color. The
correct paint was in pretty good shape but had been painted over by a
pretty poor paint job. When I started removing the light blue I found
some very good paint down on the right side just above the right front
fender. I wet sanded it and then buffed it back to a very good shine. I
then had a very reputable auto paint company computer match it for
me.” |
