Weird weather: Rain in Silicon Valley in August? Well despite needing windshield wipers to get to the tour start four cars showed up. The rain ended by the time the tour started and we winded our way down through the hills with the fresh smells of rain washed land.
By the time we got to Manresa State Beach Park the weather was clear and comfortable. While we ate our picnic lunch we got a good view of the surfers and, further out, dolphins playing in the ocean. After lunch we toured to Beach City Gas in Santa Cruz where a number of us filled the tanks of our old cars with modern gas then the whole group had ice cream across the street at Mariannes.
Then it was off to Felton where we were able to get three of the cars up to one of the few covered bridges in California for a really neat photo opportunity.
